There are plenty of riding options quite close to Delphi.

The Westport Woods Centre (40 mins) offers beautiful beach treks or rides around the foothils of Croagh Patrick for horsemen of all abilities.

The very professional stables at Ashford Castle are a year-round operation, with both both an indoor arena and extensive outdoor trails.

A good hack in the pretty woods surrounding the Castle, with a full gallop possible for really experienced riders, is a wonderful treat.
