There are four great golf courses within an hour or less of Delphi.
The championship course at Westport (35 mins) offers a real challenge
along the shore of Clew Bay, while the lovely Connemara links at Ballyconneely
(65mins) provides 27 holes of spectacular dunes and seascapes with wide
fairways but testing rough.
The 18-hole parkland course at Oughterard (45 mins) is tight and tricky,
while the eccentric 9-green/18-tee links at Mulranny (55 mins), with greens
fenced off from meandering sheep and cattle, provides the most beautiful
views of Clew Bay.
