A weekend of yoga, relaxation and healthy vegetarian meals in such a tranquil setting as Delphi Lodge affords the guest a golden opportunity to set their busy lifestyle aside. The weekend of Yoga and wellbeing is not like going to a spa where you are pampered by many staff, it is really time for you (the person) to bring the awareness back inside yourself.
Inner peace, …..calming, ……discovery, ……..wellbeing, ……self awareness.
Life for all of us these days is so busy that awareness is ‘out there’ always, and it is important on every level, not just the physical but the emotional and mental levels to bring that awareness of the self back inside and connect with it, with good yoga practices in such a beautiful peaceful setting.
The type of yoga our teacher Susan is teaching is Satyananda yoga – it is a very traditional form of yoga. It involves ‘Asanas’ (which are yoga postures), ‘Pranayama’ (which is working with the breath), and guided relaxation and meditation.
We offer Yoga weekends from October to February for a maximum group size of 12 people:
- Friday introduction and evening programme
- Saturday all day including evening programme
- Sunday untill 2pm.
